And a fine time was had by most!
What a treat to read poems in one of the epicenters of American poetry, at Specs’ no less with Bill Taylor, Jr. and a few more of the city’s finest — and at one of the best bars in San Francisco. Pretty darn great.
And then to bum around the bay, from a San Leandro earthquake through sunburn at Alcatraz, fine meals at Scoma’s and R&G Lounge, caviar on the waterfront, tacos beside Lake Merritt, Waymos, SF MoMA, and cocktails on a cliffhouse patio while listening to tunes plunked out on a grand piano as the sun sets and a little bat friend flits by. Yep, I loves me some adventure!
This Weekend...
White Wine
White Wine is So Bad...
How Bad Is It?!
Well, we assumed it was THIS bad.
At long last, a new animated drunk poem from A DEEP & GORGEOUS THIRST - UNABRIDGED AUDIO. A couple of dunderheads, desperate for more drink, suffer through a bottle of "white wine." Read with the requisite gravitas by Michael D. Blum, and once again featuring the animation prowess of Diego Leyva.
