Poetry from Bottle of Smoke Press (2008), 36 pages

I’ve always admired the way McCreesh’s poetry is both eloquent and accessible. I also admire his ability to cut to the kernel of truth found in human nature with a subtle turn of phrase. As I read every poem in Marching…, I was lulled by each poems eloquence, only to be hit by the total weight of the poem at its end. McCreesh is what’s right with poetry today.
